On May 3, 2015 Connecticut State Troopers participated in the 2015 Aquidneck Island National Police Parade in Newport, RI. This year’s parade honored all law enforcement officers lost in the line of duty during 2014.
The parade draws tens of thousands of people who watch as thousands of Law Enforcement Officers march by.
The Connecticut State Police Honor Guard, State Troopers, a K9 team, motorcycle unit and antique Connecticut State Police cruisers all participated in this year’s parade.
As the multiple law enforcement agencies marched by they were evaluated on various aspects including their dress uniform.
Connecticut State Troopers proudly won 1st Place for Best Uniform.
