Burglary, Larceny, Conspiracy, Failure to Appear in Court, DUI's and Violation of Probation through 6-28-13


The East Haddam Police and the Connecticut State Police, Troop K in Colchester report the following incidents:

LARCENY AND FAILURE TO APPEAR IN COURT - On June 17 at approximately 8:00 a.m., Amber Cromeenes, 29, of Victoria Drive, Colchester, turned herself in to Troop K based on active warrants. Cromeenes was arrested and charged with (3) counts of 6th-degree larceny, 1st-degree failure to appear and 2nd-degree failure to appear. She was held in lieu of bonds totaling $27,000 and scheduled to appear later on the same day, at Middletown Superior Court.

VIOLATION OF PROBATION - On June 18 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Michael Biggs, 44, of Birch Road, Moodus, turned himself in to Troop K and was arrested and charged with (2) counts of violation of probation, based on an active warrants. Biggs was released on a $2,500 bond and given a court date of 7/16/13 at Middletown Superior Court.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUGS AND SPEEDING - On June 21 at approximately 10:38 p.m., Anthony Atwood, 33, of Oriole Road, East Haddam was arrested and charged with the above violations. Atwood was later released on a $500 bond and scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on 6/26/13.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUGS AND FAILURE TO DRIVE UPON THE RIGHTOn June 22, Emily Denicola, 19, of Algonquin Trail, Moodus was pulled over by East Hampton Police after she was observed traveling at a rate of speed well over the  posted speed limit of 45 mph. Police reported observing Denicola cross the double yellow center line twice. Denicola was subsequently arrested for the above violations and scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on 7/3/13.

LARCENY AND CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT LARCENY - On June 23 at approximately 12:37 p.m., Colchester Police responded to a Westchester Road, Colchester residence for a complaint of money stolen from the home. Further investigation by police resulted in the arrest of Daniel O'Mara, 23, of Berry Road, East Haddam. O'Mara was taken into custody without incident, arrested and charged with 6th-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. He was later released on a $500 bond and given a court date of 7/11/13 at Norwich Superior Court.

BURGLARY, LARCENY, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF AND CONSPIRACY - On June 25 at approximately 6:00 a.m., Wendy Gorman, 47, of Bow Lane, Middletown was arrested, pursuant to a warrant, and charged with 3rd-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, 2nd-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny, 2nd-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief. Gorman was held in lieu of a $20,000 bond and presented to Middletown Superior Court on the same day to face the above charges.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUGS AND FAILURE TO DRIVE UPON THE RIGHT - On June 25 at approximately 7:24 p.m., Renee Barber, 40, of East Haddam-Colchester Turnpike, Mooudus was arrested and charged with the above violations. Barber was processed at Troop K and later released on a $500 bond and scheduled to appear at Norwich Superior Court on 7/16/13.

BURGLARY AND LARCENY - On June 27, a resident of Mount Parnassus Road, East Haddam reported jewelry and money missing from their home. LARCENY FROM A MOTOR-VEHICLE - On June 28, East Haddam Police received a complaint of a theft from a motor-vehicle that had been parked on Lake Shore Drive, in the Lake Hayward section of East Haddam.
